With more and more events competing for attention, targeting the right audience with a clear value proposition is key. In today’s fast-faced world, time appears to be our most precious commodity – and for Tania Goodacre, assistant director, events, for the Minerals Council of Australia, last-minute event registrations are an ongoing struggle.
“Why do people leave it to the last moment to register?” she questioned. “As more and more people are time-poor and keen to maximise attendance at events, this is leading to large volumes of last-minute registrations that creates pressure on event managers and their suppliers.”
