About Project SPARK
Project SPARK is a once in a generation opportunity for the business events industry to understand and define how a disruptive technology will shape our chosen profession — the business events industry.
Project SPARK is a free education and development initiative to shed light on the evolving place of AI in the business events industry. By signing-up to participate you’ll also get hands-on access to a business events AI tool in-development aimed at immediately helping you jump-start routine event planning tasks, complementing your skills and expertise, not replacing them.
Project SPARK is your starting point to explore, together, the challenge of adopting new AI technology that could enhance the power of the human connections you create.
Now is the time to embrace the challenge of AI and ignite a path beyond the boundaries of what is possible in the business events industry.

Even though the Project Spark tool is still in its development phase, it has functionality that can be used right away. You can already access features like repurposing video content into various formats, generating session descriptions, taglines, and speaker bios, brainstorming event themes on demand, and reviewing and refining your event content, contracts, and specific clauses. Additionally, the tool enables you to craft engaging LinkedIn posts and emails for promoting your event effectively.
As more users join the testing phase over the next few weeks, we will be introducing new features and improvements based on user feedback. This iterative approach ensures that the tool is being developed specifically with event professionals’ needs in mind. During this development phase, you may experience occasional updates and enhancements, but these changes are all aimed at providing you with a reliable and efficient solution for your event planning and management needs. So, go ahead and explore Spark’s features and provide your valuable feedback to help shape the future of this powerful tool.
While both the tool in development and ChatGPT utilize advanced language models to generate human-like text, the Spark tool is specifically designed for event professionals and offers a tailored experience to cater to their unique needs.
By leveraging multiple large language models (LLMs), such as GPT3, GPT4, and Anthropic’s Claude, Turing-NLG, Spark provides a more diverse and comprehensive range of capabilities. This enables it to assist event professionals in generating content, brainstorming ideas, evaluating contracts, and more, all within a single platform. In contrast, ChatGPT is a general-purpose AI language model that may not be as focused on the specific requirements of the event industry.
