John Reyes
Visit Sacramento has appointed John Reyes as chief operating officer, effective August 2017. He will assume the role held by Mike Testa, who was promoted to president and CEO this month. Reyes currently serves as the executive vice president and chief sales officer at San Francisco Travel.
Morgan Edwards and Hillary Burton
The Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority (RSCVA) has recently announced two new hires. Hillary Burton has been named executive director of convention sales western region. Burton has more than 20 years of experience directing sales activities in California. She recently served as national account director for Visit Newport Beach Inc. Morgan Edwards also joins the RSCVA team as corporate and community sales manager. Edwards has more than six years of experience directing sales and handling services and operations for northern Nevada’s meetings and conventions.
Laura Manriquez
Laura Manriquez has been named director of sales and marketing for Visit Santa Cruz County (VSCC). She will use her eight years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry to target corporate group meetings and international tourism travel trade in her new position.
Kristin Wenger
VisitPITTSBURGH has promoted Kristin Wenger to the role of communications director. She joined the communications department in 2000, after working at the Keebler Company.
