Rori Ferensic
Destinations International has appointed Rori Ferensic as its new senior director of education. She will be responsible for the development of integrated curricula and programs that enhance the professional development of Destinations International members; directing initiatives to create educational opportunities for the annual convention, summit meetings, certification programs, and online offerings; and assisting with the development of a comprehensive education strategy for the organization. Previously, Ferensic served as director of education and credentialing at the National Automatic Merchandising Association.
Ron Pellerine
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre has named Ron Pellerine general manager of the property, effective September 16. Pellerine has more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. He previously served as general manager of the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto.
Jon Clark
Teneo Hospitality Group has hired Jon Clark as its new director of sales. Clark joins Teneo’s Western regional team and will be responsible for clients in the Seattle and San Francisco markets. He will be based in Snoqualmie, Washington. Most recently, Clark served as national sales assistant director at Disney Meetings & Events, where he was responsible for developing and managing client relationships for all industry organizations in the Pacific
