New Chief Named for Singapore Tourism Board

SINGAPORE — Keith Tan Kean Loong will take over as chief executive of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) next month, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) has announced.
Tan, currently deputy secretary (policy) at the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), begins his new role on Oct. 29, MIT said last week.

In his role at MINDEF Tan has been responsible for defence policy, strategic communications, national education, and Total Defence.

He joins STB in the role previously held by Lionel Yeo, who stepped down in May.
