Convene 4 Climate is an inaugural event brought to you by PCMA, the Strategic Alliance of National Convention Bureaus of Europe and other collaborators.

This is a platform to bring together BEI and other sectors to explore future scenarios, growing knowledge and creative solutions around the intersection of climate-tech and the world of Business Events. This workshop-based and lasered-focus content environment will find tools and technology, skills and people to propel better decisions and the ability to act now.

Air:

Barcelona airport, with several terminals, is located 16 kilometres south of the city and is also known as Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat. Barcelona can also be reached by transport links from other regional airports, including Girona, Reus and Lleida-Alguaire. From the airport you can travel by bus, train, metro and nightbus to access the city.

Train:

If you have a choice to travel to Convening EMEA by high speed train then why not make that choice! High speed trains emit 90% less CO2 than airplane per passenger kilometer. You can travel by train to Barcelona if you are originating or connecting in Madrid, Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Toulouse. High-speed trains are a comfortable and convenient way of covering long distances and Barcelona operates a number of high-speed rail routes that connect the city with the rest of Spain and France. The city also has an extensive network of suburban and regional trains.

COPENHAGEN TRAVEL PASS

Registered attendees will receive a complimentary Congress Travel Pass for travel within Copenhagen by metro, train and bus compliments of Copenhagen Convention Bureau.

Details on how to access the travel pass will be communicated by the EMEA team to Registered attendees closer to the event.

Where is the main venue for Convening EMEA in Copenhagen?

The venue for Convening EMEA main programme is Bella Center Copenhagen which is located at Center Blvd. 5, 2300 København, Denmark.

Bella Center Copenhagen is just 6 km from Copenhagen Airport (10 minutes by e-taxi) and 8 km from Copenhagen city centre.

The metro station “Bella Center” is located only a few minutes from Bella Center Copenhagen. Further information on www.m.dk.

Where do I register /pick up my name badge on Wednesday 20^th September?

The venue for Registration on Wednesday 20^th September is Copenhagen City Hall, Rådhuspladsen 1, København. Registered attendees can pick up badges at City Hall from 15:00.

Radhuspladsen is closest Metro stop.

Where do the Exploration Tours start and finish on Wednesday 20^th September?

All the Exploration Tours will start from Copenhagen City Hall at 16:00. Guides will meet registered attendees who have signed up for the tours in front of City Hall. All the Exploration Tours will finish at Copenhagen City Hall. Radhuspladsen is closest Metro stop to City Hall.

Where is the Welcome Reception on Wednesday 20^th September?

The Welcome Reception is in Copenhagen City Hall, Rådhuspladsen 1, København on Wednesday evening 20^th September starting at 19:00.

Where is Registration /name badge pick up on Thursday 21^st September if I am arriving on that day?

Registration on Thursday morning is in Bella Center venue, Center Blvd. 5, 2300 København, Denmark and opens from 08:00 with sessions commencing at 09:00.
Bella Center is the closest metro stop. For those staying in AC Bella Sky the hotel is connected to Bella Center.

Where is the ‘Copenhagen Spectacle’ Dinner on Thursday 21^st September?

The Dinner is hosted in the city centre at Wallmans Circus Building, Jernbanegade 8, 1608 København V, Denmark.

REGISTRATION

Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?
Yes- the deadline for receipt of cancellations is 2^nd August 2023. Cancellation of registration must be submitted in writing via email ([email protected]). All in-person registrations include a non-refundable $50,- processing fee. There are no refunds for cancellations received after 2^nd August 2023
No refunds will be granted for No-Shows or Digital Registrations.

Can I substitute my registration to another person? 
Replacement of a registered attendee by a business colleague/co-worker must be submitted in writing via email ([email protected]) and must be dated on or before 17:00 CET on Friday 8^th September 2023. These requests will not be accepted without advance written authorization from PCMA ([email protected]) A $50,- substitution processing fee will apply.

Are there student rates available?
Yes, we do have student registration available for $100 for In person and $50 for Digital RegIstration. Did you know that PCMA student membership is free? for further details and to become a member visit our Student webpage: https://www.pcma.org/membership/students/

Can I upgrade my digital registration to an in-person registration?
Yes – please contact [email protected] for further information.

Can I change my in-person registration to a digital registration?
Yes – up until 01 September 2023 at 17:00 CET – please contact [email protected] for further information.

Can I Register onsite?
No. There is no onsite registration for this event. Registration for In-person tickets closes on 13^th September 2023.
