Frank Hugelmeyer
The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has named Frank Hugelmeyer as the association’s next president. He succeeds Thom Dammrich, who announced his retirement in 2018 after 20 years with NMMA. Hugelmeyer joins NMMA from the RV Industry Association, where he served as president since 2015. Prior to that, Hugelmeyer was president and CEO of the Outdoor Industry Association for 14 years.
Karen Morris
Karen Morris, CMP, has joined Visit Phoenix’s convention sales team as director of national accounts. Morris has extensive experience in the travel industry and most recently worked for the American Society of Travel Advisors as director of meetings and events, where she planned conferences in Spain, Kenya, China, Greece, the Bahamas, and throughout the United States.
Colleen Brzozowski
Colleen Brzozowski, CIS, has joined ACCESS Destination Services as director of national accounts. Brzozowski, who has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, will be focused on partnering with the 19 offices and 40 destinations serviced by ACCESS for clients in the Midwest and particularly in the incentive market. She was most recently with KSL Resorts for five years, where she served as director of sales — Midwest region.
Sean Fitzgerald and Scott Brewster
Corcoran Expositions has named Sean Fitzgerald and Scott Brewster sales associates for marketing exhibit space. Fitzgerald joins the organization from Computers Nationwide, where he was a sales representative and technology consultant. Brewster previously worked at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, where he served as director of meetings, corporate relations, and sponsorships.
Iyonna Rivers
Hyatt House Hotel in Chicago, which is set to open on June 13, has named Iyonna Rivers its director of sales. Rivers will oversee the sales and marketing efforts for the hotel and will also be tasked with building relationships with community organizations and businesses. During her 15-year career, Rivers has covered many aspects of hospitality sales and marketing, including group, corporate, business transient, consortia, government travel, and leisure travel. Before joining Hyatt House, she served as group sales manager and senior business travel manager for the Wyndham Grand Chicago Waterfront.
