GMC Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Committee Members and any other members interested in becoming involved in PCMA’s GMC are welcome to attend.
This development day will include an orientation on roles and responsibilities of chapter leaders; developing strategic plan tactics for each committee, and special guest speaker TJ Baskerville.
Meet our Speaker:
Tejuana (TJ) Baskerville is an accomplished professional and trailblazer in education
development and association management.
She is a wife, a mom, and the Director of Professional Development & Events, leading with
passion, purpose, and strategic vision. Driven by a dedication to innovation and excellence, TJ
has made meaningful contributions to both her industry and community.
In 2020, TJ was honored as one of Association Forum’s distinguished “Forty Under 40” award
recipients, highlighting her exemplary leadership and influence in her field. A champion for
diversity and inclusion, TJ served as Chair of the Women’s Executive Forum Advisory Group in
2022, where she empowered women leaders and fostered inclusive environments across
industries.
Her expertise in continuing education is further demonstrated by her tenure as Committee Chair
for the International Association for Continuing Medical Education (IACME) from 2020 to
2022, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the standards and practices of medical
education.
Since 2022, TJ has been a valued member of the Professional Development Advisory Council for
the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), contributing her strategic insights and
helping to elevate the association management profession.
TJ currently serves as the Chair of the Content Development Shared Interest Group (SIG) for
Association Forum, where she collaborates with peers to create impactful resources and learning
opportunities for association professionals.
A leader with enthusiasm for innovation and a strong commitment to fostering growth and
inclusion, TJ continues to inspire colleagues and organizations alike with her forward-thinking
vision and dedication to excellence.
