Many #eventprofs add that question to their registration form, serve gluten free meals, and believe we’re checking off the accessibility and inclusivity checkbox. But designing and building a truly accessible event requires thinking much deeper and more thoroughly about your room setup, furniture, access points, and emergency procedures.

Nabeel Ramji, Accessibility Advocate and Co-Founder of Pedesting will join Anh Nguyen for this casual, lunchtime session. Diving into timely and specific topics #eventprofs care about, Nabeel will share his experiences attending events in a wheelchair and the simple, but overlooked, things planners can do to ensure their event is truly wheelchair accessible. Anh and Nabeel will guide an interactive discussion and give attendees a chance to ask questions, share their perspectives, and learn from each other.
