New and Newly Renovated space
The LVCC is currently in Phase Two of a $935 million expansion and renovation, which will see the addition of a new West Hall, bringing the total campus exhibit space to 2.5 million square feet. This will include 600,000 square feet of new, leasable exhibit space, an outdoor terrace and a grand atrium. West Hall is currently slated to be operational in January 2021. Additionally, as part of the renovation project and to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry, the existing areas of the LVCC will be reinvented as a state-of-the-art facility with modern architecture, the latest meeting technology and security features.
Elon Musk is investing in LVCC
The LVCC is making history thanks to an incredible partnership with Elon Musk’s The Boring Company. The company is developing an underground people mover that will allow convention attendees to traverse LVCC’s 200-acre campus in just 90 seconds. The project will consist of two tunnels, each one mile long, and with the potential to expand to link the convention center to other key attractions across Las Vegas.
