• Why join the Legacy Society?

  This is an opportunity to imprint your legacy on the industry, the Foundation and PCMA.

  Your donations fuel our work to advance our industry and fund:

• How do I give?

  The best way to give is to make a written pledge. This can simply be a letter written in your own words and sent to the PCMA Education Foundation along with a Declaration of Intent. It is then your responsibility to set your affairs in order so that your pledge will be fulfilled.

• Who is giving?

  A listing of Founding Donor Class (2011-2013) members.

• What type of planned gifts does the PCMA Education Foundation accept?

  1. The first type is a donation of $5,000 or more either immediately or $5,000 paid over five years at $1000 per year. 
  2. The second type is a simple planned gift of at least $5,000 through an individuals' estate. These include a bequest through a will, all or part of an existing life insurance policy, or proceeds from a retirement plan.
     
     

• What Recognition will I receive from the PCMA Education Foundation?

  • Listed or featured in Convene magazine, the PCMA website and the Foundation booth area at Convening Leaders
  • Networking events exclusively for your donor class year with PCMA leadership
  • You will receive a donor pin and ribbon signifying your status at PCMA events

• Can I feel confident about my planned gift to PCMA?

  PCMA was founded in 1957 and the PCMA Education Foundation was founded in 1985 to support the mission of PCMA through scholarships, research, education and community outreach. Both PCMA and the Foundation have a long and proud history and a track record of success at educating and advancing our industry. Both organizations have sound operating budgets and financial reserves and are organizationally stable with industry leading Board leadership. The financial integrity of both organizations should make you feel confident about your gift.
