Speakers

Gretchen Bliss, CMP is the Director of Meetings and Conferences for Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Prior to her role with MGMA, Gretchen held leadership positions at EDUCAUSE and the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses.  During her tenure at EDUCAUSE, she played an integral role in working with the team in reinventing their annual meeting. Her strengths are managing budgets, developing teams, streamlining processes and mentoring staff. Gretchen's role at MGMA is to oversee the annual conference as well as manage the Meetings and Conferences department. Gretchen is active in the Industry and previously served on the Rocky Mountain PCMA Board.


Garth Jordan is the Chief Operating Officer at MGMA, the largest membership association for medical practice executives and administrators in the United States. In this role, he oversees general operations and strategic planning for the organization. This is Garth's second tenure at MGMA, having served as the director of Marketing and Business Development from 1997 to 2000. He most recently worked as vice president of operations at EDUCAUSE,a nonprofit association and community of IT leaders and professionals committed to advancing higher education. There he led efforts to improve their Annual Conference experience and website. Garth has also held leadership positions at Mercy Housing, the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and HealtheCareers. He holds an M.B.A. in marketing from the University of Colorado Denver and a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder
