John Kajander

The Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau recently hired former Texas Medical Center executive John Kajander as a senior consultant for Healthcare and Life Sciences.

Shannon Shannon

Visit Spokane has announced the appointment of Shannon Shannon to the position of Director of Sales. This is a promotion for Shannon, a 20-year industry veteran who has been with Visit Spokane since 2003, most recently as Senior Director of National Accounts.

Jay Burkette

Jay Burkette was named the new president of the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (EDPA).

Raymond Larivée

The Québec Cabinet has appointed Raymond Larivée as President and CEO of the Palais des congrès. Mr. Larivée will take over the position on February 10, 2014.

Mary Hutchcraft

Mary Hutchcraft has been appointed director of sales and marketing at B Resort in the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Hutchcraft most recently was task force director of sales and marketing at the International Palms Resort and Conference Center, Orlando. 

Henry Tse

Henry Tse has been named director of sales and marketing for Dorsett Tsuen Wan in Hong Kong. Tse also will remain director of sales and marketing for Silka Far East, Hong Kong. 

Jeff Livingston

Jeff Livingston has been named director of sales and marketing for Chaminade Resort & Spa in Santa Cruz, California. Livingston was previously director of sales for L’Auberge Del Mar in Del Mar, California.

Abby Morgan

Abby Morgan has been appointed director of sales and marketing at the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas. Most recently, Morgan was director of sales and marketing at The Joule. 

Ed Gillis

Ed Gillis has been promoted to Regional Vice President of HotelPlanner.com and Meetings.com based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ed has been employed by HotelPlanner.com since 2010 and previously held the position of Regional Product Director for Las Vegas.

Kim Goodman

American Express Global Business Travel president Kim Goodman will step down at the end of the month, the company confirmed. Amex has yet to name a successor, but a search is underway.
